As gaming culture continues to spread, and technology advances, video games would address many of the problems that bedevil elderly people: loneliness, a lack of mental stimulation, cabin fever.

People with dementia could have their old lives recreated through VR. And jumping off the Wired piece from a while back, if loved ones could be uploaded to AI, they could spend their last years in the company of people who have long since passed. .”
